Implementation Timeline

First, let’s walk through the most common approach to teaching Energy is Everything lessons. If you have two or more weeks of time, you can follow this traditional timeline.

Field Day Option

A field day is typically a one-day visit and takes approximately 3 hours. During a field day, students complete all program requirements and have a take-home component to ensure they receive a full five hours of Energy is Everything instruction. Students complete the pre-teaching survey and kickoff lesson together, then they rotate to each learning station or do a series of four lessons. Finally, they come together to wrap up and complete the post-teaching survey.

One Week Timeline

Even if you only have a week, you have plenty of time to implement Energy is Everything. Start with the pre-teaching survey and kickoff lesson on Monday. On Tuesday through Friday, complete a lesson each day. Finally, end the week with the post-teaching survey right after your last lesson.
