We help students apply what they’ve learned about energy with hands-on enrichment opportunities, including in-person and virtual lab days, field trips, career exploration projects, and behavior change campaigns.
My Future Energy Career
Energy is Everything introduces real career pathways through our My Future Energy Career series, where we interview professionals in energy careers and give students the chance to hear their stories and get their advice.
Energy is Everything Certification
With our Energy is Everything Certification, middle and high school students are trained up and get to perform energy data collection and monitoring, audit energy and water use, and run a conservation campaign. In the process, they will meet practitioners and learn about energy careers. Students that complete our Energy is Everything Certification will become certified Earth Engineers or Future Innovators and can highlight this on college and job applications.
Career Technical Education
Energy is Everything can help facilitate agreements with community colleges to allow high school students to take (and get credit for!) college-level technical courses. If your high school already has an articulation agreement with a community college, we can support career technical education specifically related to energy career pathways. Energy is Everything lessons support the Energy, Environment, and Utilities (EEU) and Engineering and Architecture (EA) pathways by developing foundational knowledge and content expertise. Lab Days
Available in person and online, Lab Days immerse students in a 45-minute to 1-hour activity to support an energy-related lesson. Everyone’s invited! Although we recommend just one grade band at a time for Lab Days, multiple classes within a grade band can participate. We take care of the supplies to make the day energized and fun for all!
Energy Fellows
We offer Energy Fellowships for talented high school juniors and seniors at The Energy Coalition and with select program partners. Energy Fellows develop professional skills, learn from practitioners, and help support real-world projects that are creating more sustainable local communities. Our next cohort will start in summer 2022.
