Our internships connect talented high school juniors and seniors with exciting sustainability and energy projects. As an intern, you’ll develop professional skills, learn from new career mentors, and support real-world projects that are making a difference in local communities.
Interested in becoming an intern?
If selected as an intern, you will earn community service credits, develop professional skills, and work to change the energy landscape.
About the internship opportunity
Interns will be responsible for completing four milestones with subtasks that equal 150 total service hours. The internship takes place over 10 weeks of service.
Unpaid, but interns will receive a stipend once all requirements are completed.
FULLY virtual
Learn about careers in energy services and other pathways at The Energy Coalition.
Earn community service credits, learn about career pathways and the energy and sustainability industry, and improve your skills.
Applications are closed until January of 2025.
As part of your application, please complete and sign the Internship Permission and Media Release documents.

Considerations for becoming an intern host
Have a project in mind that’s focused on energy or sustainability and will benefit the community
Be prepared to help your intern(s) develop their interpersonal, workplace, and technical skills
Make sure to offer opportunities for your intern(s) to learn about career pathways through exposure to the energy industry and career mentorship
