Digital Multimeter
Student teams will plan an investigation taking into consideration constraints and criteria. Then, they will carry out an investigation using one independent (control) variable and multitude of dependent variables (e.g., angle/position of a panel, time of day, weather, and global position), to determine how they can affect the amount of power a solar panel will generate.
The Energy Coalition will send you solar panels, digital multimeters, and graph paper to bring this lesson to life.
