Solar Planning

$0.00

Students will utilize design tools (e.g., online drafting tools) to assess their campus capacity and need for solar energy, as well as design a solar master plan to present to their district’s energy management team. For schools that already utilize solar photovoltaic energy, students can create a master plan for another building or campus in their community.

The Energy Coalition will send you 2-Volt PV cell, 1 motor, 1 propeller, collection of construction paper, clean trash made of cardboard (i.e., milk containers, cereal or tissue boxes, etc.), and general art supplies: scissors, glue, tape, and markers to bring this lesson to life.
