Students will design and build a model to examine thermal energy by constructing a solar oven.
The Energy Coalition will per student group, plastic wrap, 1 sheet of black paper, tape and 2 aluminum pans to bring this lesson to life.
Lesson Objective: Students will describe thermal energy uses and explain how we can harvest different energy (thermal, radiant, and light) sources from the sun.
