Students will research alternative fuel sources in order to design a solution for the current problems gas-powered vehicles are causing. Students will build a model car that uses a photovoltaic cell and further explore alternative fuel sources.
The Energy Coalition will send you solar car kits, masking tape, and sandpaper to bring this lesson to life.
Lesson Objective: Students will explain the importance of water conservation through an investigation of the water supply in California.
