Students will learn about the electric grid and the future of smart grids, and beneficial electrification. Students will also design blueprints and build a 3D model of a smart grid community.
The Energy Coalition will send you construction paper and glue to bring this lesson to life.
Lesson Objective: Students will use the information from their research and incorporate peer feedback to build a 3D model of a Smart Grid community with beneficial electrification.
Suggested Teaching Time: 100 minutes over two or more class periods
