The Energy Fellow (internship) offering connects talented high school Juniors and Seniors with exciting sustainability and energy projects. As an Energy Fellow, you’ll develop professional skills, learn from new career mentors, and support real-world projects that are making a difference in local communities.
Interested in becoming an Energy Fellow (Intern)?
If selected as an intern, you will earn community service credits, develop professional skills, and work to change the energy landscape.
About the Energy Fellow offering
Energy Fellow (interns) will be responsible for
Completing 4 milestones with subtasks that equal 150 total hours of service
8 weeks of service.
Unpaid
Interns will receive a stipend once all requirements are completed
FULLY virtual
Learn about careers in energy services and other pathways at The Energy Coalition
Earn community service credits, learn about career pathways and the energy and sustainability industry, and improve your skills
Applications open for the Summer Cohort (June - July 2024). Applications close on 6/3/2024.
As part of your application, please complete and sign the Internship Permission, Media Release, and Reference documents.

Considerations for becoming an Energy Fellow host
Have a project in mind that’s focused on energy or sustainability and will benefit the community
Be prepared to help your Energy Fellow develop their interpersonal, workplace, and technical skills
Make sure to offer opportunities for your Energy Fellow to learn about career pathways through exposure to the energy industry and career mentorship
