Getting Gas
Students will investigate natural gas by learning various methods utilized to extract natural gas. Then they will conduct an experiment that simulates the conditions that replicate the extraction and refining process of natural gas. Students will analyze and interpret their findings from the experiment and address potential environmental impacts.
The Energy Coalition will send you plastic cups, pipettes, coffee filters, and rubber bands to bring this lesson to life.
